Frequently Asked Questions About Brainspotting Therapy and Insulin Resistance Reversal with Jennie Hays

Who knew when you started googling “find a health coach near me” or “brainspotting therapy” that you would find so many options, and be left with SO many questions?

I am here to help!

General Questions

Who do you work with? I work with people struggling with mental blocks and self-sabotage as well as women who think they might have insulin resistance or have been diagnosed with insulin resistance, pre-diabetes, or type 2 diabetes.

What types of sessions do you offer? I offer Brainspotting packages, 1:1 Health Coaching for insulin resistance, and Accountability Laser coaching.

Where do sessions take place? All sessions are conducted on Zoom, providing you with the flexibility to join from anywhere.

Brainspotting

What is brainspotting? Brainspotting is a powerful, brain-based tool that helps individuals access, process, and overcome emotional and psychological barriers that impede their success.

Who is brainspotting for? Brainspotting is ideal for any one who feels stuck, overwhelmed, or hindered by mental blocks and self-sabotage. If you've invested in numerous programs and tools but still can't break through to achieve your goals, brainspotting can help unlock your potential and transform self-doubt into clarity and confidence.

How do brainspotting sessions typically last? The Brainspotting package includes a 30-minute intake session, a 60-minute brainspotting session, and a 30-minute follow-up session.

How much does the Brainspotting package cost? The Brainspotting package is $497. Payment plans are available.

What happens during the first brainspotting session? In our first session, we will discuss your specific challenges and goals and prepare you for the brainspotting process. The second session will be the brainspotting session itself, and the third session will be a follow-up to help you put any remaining pieces together.

How often will we meet for brainspotting? Brainspotting is sold by the package. The first session is an intake to get background information and prepare you for brainspotting. The second session is the brainspotting session, and the follow-up session helps you integrate the results. Occasionally, additional brainspotting sessions may be needed for specific issues, but most issues are cleared up in a single session.

What kind of results can I expect from brainspotting? Most clients begin to notice significant improvements after just one brainspotting session. Brainspotting helps transform self-doubt into clarity and confidence, allowing you to effectively use all the knowledge and tools you’ve invested in and stop the self-sabotage.

What if brainspotting isn't working for me? The great thing about working with someone who has training in multiple modalities is that if brainspotting is not working we can combine it with hypnosis or techniques inspired by Internal Family Systems (IFS), Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT), and Accelerate Resolution Therapy (ART). All of these are powerful techniques that are based on clinically proven foundations.

Insulin Resistance Coaching

How long do coaching sessions typically last? Sessions are typically 30 minutes, but deep dives and Brainspotting sessions are 60-90 minutes.

What happens during the first session? Our first session together is a deep dive into your goals, your lifestyle, and what you have tried in the past. Then, together we will develop a plan to get you the results you are longing for.

How often will we meet? For 1:1 Online Health Coaching, we will meet bi-monthly for 30 minutes and bi-monthly for a 60-minute Brainspotting session. You will also have access to me by email and Facebook Messenger.

How long will I need to come to coaching? Insulin resistance coaching is available in 3-month or 6-month packages to ensure you have plenty of time to see great results and create habits that can last a lifetime.

How much do sessions cost? Insulin resistance coaching is sold in 3-month and 6-month packages. Please contact me for detailed pricing and payment plan options.

Are sessions covered by my insurance? I do not accept insurance, but payment plans are available for both brainspotting and insulin resistance coaching packages.

Do you have evening and weekend appointments available? I have limited spots on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons.

What if coaching isn't working? Coaches can assist in creating effective strategies and pathways to success, but ultimately the hard work must be done by the individual. If you aren’t getting the results you desire, we will re-evaluate your goals and determine if they are still relevant. You may also benefit from different coaching styles or techniques. It is your responsibility to advise me if you feel the coaching isn’t working so we can determine the right solution.

Accountability Coaching

What is accountability coaching? Accountability coaching provides you with consistent support and guidance to help you stay on track with your goals. It includes an initial intake session followed by unlimited 15-minute sessions for one year.

Who is accountability coaching for? Accountability coaching is ideal for individuals who need ongoing support and motivation to stay on track with their goals. If you struggle with consistency, and procrastination, or need a structured system to achieve your long-term objectives, accountability coaching can provide the necessary framework and support.

How much does accountability coaching cost? The Accountability Coaching package is $997.

What happens during the first accountability coaching session? The first session is a 30-minute intake where we dig into your long-term goals and ensure clarity on how the accountability sessions will work.

How do the 15-minute sessions work? For one year after the intake session, you have access to unlimited 15-minute sessions. These sessions can be scheduled based on my availability and are designed to keep you on track with your goals. To book a session, you must have completed any agreed assignment from the last session or have a direct question about the assignment that has kept you from completing it.

What if I need more support between sessions? You can schedule additional 15-minute sessions as needed, as long as there is availability and you have completed any goals from the last call.
